No, but Apple does! now have a program which allows you to test OSX for
free.
Google it, and you'll see what I mean.

Nor can you test OS X with the free Developer account.

You can get a free dev account but you cannot test ios builds. For that you
have to pay. I can how ever submit bug reports using the bug tracker on the
builds the public has for both ios and osx. The bug tracker does need work
how ever, a lot of work. It was fine before apple broke it. bleh!

OK, first you say you're not a dev. Then, you say you have a free dev
account. First of all, I'm not even gonna ask! how you managed to pull
getting it free. Second of all, are you a dev with an account? or not.
I'm now totally lost.

Lol. Not yet. It will be released to the devs on keynote day. as it has
been for the past 4 or mor years. Keynote btw is on june 2 2014 and I
can't wait! I will be listenign to that video if streaming is done again
this year on someone's audio server, or I might do it myself if my
internet decides to behave.
I'm not a dev, how ever I do follow twitter accounts that let me know when
things are availiable way ahead of time, sometimes weeks in advanced such
as seed builds and stuff. Of corse I can't dl them but it's good to know
what apple's up to.
I do have a free dev account so I can submit those professional looking
bug reports.

Oh, are you a dev? OK, yeah, that would explain it. Sorry about that.
I didn't know.
Speaking of dev things, I totally get it would be off limits on list to
discuss any factors about it, and please don't get confused of the nature
of the following question. I'm not asking anyone to breech NDA, trust
me. I don't wish to know any details. I can figure that out myself, as I
am! a dev, but I'm curious if I O S 8 has been released to us devs yet.
I again don't need any details. Don't do that! I'm simply asking for a
yes or a no answer. NO more, no less.
Chris.

In that instance, of course it’s public. :) But having been running it
for some time, I didn’t see a recent software update so wasn’t aware of
it being released. But that’s good.
