Hi all This seems to work a little differently to how I remember it in the early days. When you run the Boot Camp assistant, you’re prompted to create a Windows Media Device, download the software from Apple to support your Mac and then install the operating system. That’s fine as far as it goes. But when I tried this last night it just booted to a dark screen with what looked like a window in the centre.
I presume that you’re supposed to boot from the USB drive. But do you need to hold down a key on boot to enable this? I’m not going to discuss the installation of Windows itself as that is an issue not for this group.
