Thanks - I've found the accent key, next to the 'z', and with shift, it does become Tilde, but I don't know how to type it so that it becomes part of a written letter; for example, I want to write 'n' with a Tilde over it, but holding down shift accent and 'n' just gives me a Tilde followed by a capitol 'n'.
Incidentally, I'm thinking this keyboard on this MBA is set up as a US keyboard, because the 'at sign' for instance, is over the number 2, and I'm use to having the quote sign on the number 2 key.
