Hi everyone, The last time I wrote to you I was struggling to type using a fourth generation iPad, and not having too much fun. I did find your messages really helpful and informative, but decided that the only reason I'd use that iPad was because someone was paying me, namely work.
But after hearing about all the iOS improvements and amazing aps that keep coming out, I finally took the plunge and got an iPhone 5s just over a week ago. The first thing that my Facebook friends did was tell me to turn on touch typing because it would save me so many headaches. Come to discover, touch typing was giving me headaches. The double tap thing honestly works best for me now, and I've been able to download quite a few aps and books. I even experimented with pictures (I took 12 very interesting ones, including a selfie, before I got a picture of my cat Daisy). Anyway, I know this email has no real value, except to say I understand why the Apple community is so excited about the products and to say that since I do now actually use an iPhone, I might contribute from time to time.
