Hi everyone,

I signed up for this thing at work where I am pared with a movement coach to
implement exercise activity into my daily work. I have a goal to reach 10,000
steps by the end of 10 weeks. To do this, I started by using the Health app
built into iOS8, but it was counting car rides as steps. So now I have a Fitbit
with a flex tracker wrist band. The first thing I noticed is that just before
you get to the screen where you enter in your height and weight, the app
crashes. If you turn off VO and then go to that screen, everything is fine; you
can fill in your height and weight and go on to the next screen and the app
doesn't crash again.

The wrist band doesn't talk. It vibrates when it's activated with your phone,
and it will apparently do a party dance when you reach your step goal for the
day. But otherwise, you just look at the lights. And for some one who has no
more light perception, I am sure you can understand how useful that is. So this
leads me to ask you all: do any of you use any tracking devices you can
accurately sync with your phone to keep track of your exercise?

Thanks a lot for any feedback.

Mary
