Hi all I found this by pure accident. If you ever want to log into Terminal as root, all you have to do is this: 1. Open up /Applications/Utilities/terminal.app 2. At the log-in prompt, type the following, (without the quotes): "sudo bash”
There you go, you’re off and running as “root”.
