Hi Sarah Yah, bit if you need to access system directories, it’s a snap when you’ve got yourself root access on-the-fly. I was struggling with Terminal because I couldn’t get into the root folders. Now, I can. And after all, it isn’t a GUI you’re using so you aren’t likely to be there unless you know just a bit about the CLI. Well, enough not to destroy your data, that is.
But here’s another one that I need to resolve. When I log into a site using SSH, what’s the command sequence? I mean how do you actually manually log in? I’ve tried everything and I need to get to the right thing pretty quickly. I’m taking on more network admin work and it involves this kid of access.
