Actually, I was referencing a point made a couple of years ago, regarding using an external drive with a mac mini. It was my understanding, that only the Superdrive from Apple could be used for booting or software installation purposes. Is that still true? If so, are their exceptions?
Which Blu-ray dvd drive is recommended by Apple, and what features does it lack? I don't know that I would believe anyone from Google about much of anything, that that is just my biased opinion.Diane Bomar Sent from my iPhone On Mar 2, 2015, at 17:46, Dane Trethowan <[email protected]> wrote: I don't have a Mac with an internal drive to try this any longer though I can't see why it wouldn't be detected though perhaps not in the boot-up stage as used to be the case quite some time ago. > On 3/03/2015 11:15 AM, Christopher-Mark Gilland wrote: > OK Dane, I think I actually get what she's asking.
