I'm sending this again as my email bounced. ,Actually through further testing I determinained it is a mac keyboard driver issue either vmware or apple will have to fix. This problem has been plaging me for months now.
Btw all you had to do was add the .ogg extension to the end of the file. Here is the file again from my db.
