The Burned disk is more reliable and platform independant whereas the USB
disk backup arrangement would be more economical and probably include an
appropriate amount of storage space. CD @ 650 - 700 MB each or USB zip @ 100
- 250 MB. Which are you more concerned about, the universal compatibility
and durability of the burner media or the price competitiveness of the USB
storage option.
