I have a note or two on how I do it.
I installed Timbuktu Pro on the (G3) and the laptop. Set-up permissions for
control on the G3.
Then all you do is dial in direct to the G3 and use Timbuktu to control your
G3 and do your surfing.
Technically, you are surfing and doing email on the G3 but you get the
benefits of the Cable modem speed for downloads, etc (to the G3). All the
phone line has to do is refresh your screen and send mouse and keyboard
commands.
If you have files downloaded that you want on the laptop, simply copy them
(and them only) to your laptop via the phone line.
Worked for me. Hope it helps. :o)
