Curious if anyone's had this same problem, and what options they've
explored.

We have an original iMac keyboard in the kitchen, plus the larger
Apple Pro keyboard connected to my office G3 PowerBook when in
desktop mode. Both have the black keys with the white symbols, and
while I like their feel, I find both are very prone to annoying glare
from general room lighting reflecting off the keys.

Now in ideal world I know the ultimate solution is just for me to
learn how to touch type, but realistically I'm afraid
I'm always going to be glancing down at the keyboard as I work. And
the current positions of both the keyboards and the ceiling light
fixtures can't really be changed.

I know this is a heretical thought, but I've recently considered
testing (very carefully) some matte dulling spray from an art supply
store. I like the current feel of the keys, and obviously don't want
to do anything to harm the actual workings of the keyboard. But this
glare problem is really starting to bug me, so I'd love to hear from
anyone who's been down a similar road, and learn where their journey
took them.

Thanks,

John Bertram
