I agree, Sandy....however, you can take a wheelbarrow, put on an aluminium rim, leather handle grips, and a hydraulic hands-free lift system.....but it's still just a wheelbarrow. I think the iPod is cool. I started jumping up and down when I first heard the release info, since my Rio500 died last week. Then I saw the price tag. I don't have $600 for an MP3 player -- not even one as cool as this one. I had exactly the same feeling a year ago about a nother product. Cool, meat feature set, I'd love to have one, but it's way too expensive. That product? The PowerMac G4 Cube. The key for Apple is finding the sweet spot between price point and feature set. Unfortunately, they missed it this time -- and left a sour taste in the mouths of Mac aficionados.
