Okay, folks. I suppose it isn't obvious if you look at FireWire as just another cable; but let's keep in mind that you can run darn near anything off of a firewire bus. You can plug a mp3 player into your Palm or Visor? well, you can plug a G4 into an iPod. Or not... maybe a small, embedded LInux device.... like say.... OH YEAH! How about a PDA? Do you suppose someone might make a tiny (no power required) plug in thingy that would work as a PDA? Or a GPS? I bet they will. "They" might even be Apple, but it doesn't have to be, either. The more I think about it, the more I come up with "not an mp3 player" and more "digital hub" that just happens to start out as an mp3 player. Waddya think, guys? Am I nuts?
