OK Amber,

I reread that post twice and it came out the same way. I then gathered
the posts under your name and reviewed them. In the first I had in my
files, you quoted me (?), shifted the subject, and then wrote later to
Mark, "How does that answer my question...could you at least change the subject."

He responded, "Picky, picky picky, get a grip... chronologically it was
not a response to the original post...header ?"

-------------------

I won't begrudge anyone quoting wrong posts, I'm too busy feeling
defensive getting auto-notes about being too long. But I did start to
get the idea your sense of righteousness was a bit bigger than your
sense of accuracy.

I agree that you tried to advise Will. Then you got tired of his
silliness and inability to listen. I really do understand that. I found
him vexous as well, but I've had kids--and perhaps he reminds me of my
first son's attempts at walking, and then walking in confidence after a
ball, which he kicked away each time he approached it. It took him a
while to figure that one out. I was funny to watch my son, it's sad to
watch Will.

------------------

My favorite quote in the remainder of your posts is, "My view is, if he
(Will) (is) prepared to dish it out, he needs to be prepared to take it."

Does that apply to you in our mini-tiff? You said to me, probably
indignantly, "My comments did not warrant the above reply. Perhaps you
should read it again and try to understand what I was really trying to say."

Back in Chicago, our two Mayor Daleys, father and son, were astounding
in their malaprops. The old man, enraged at a press conference that was
going badly, roared, "Don't write what I say, write what I meant to
say!" Is that what you're asking for?

Well, Amber. The Mayor never got his accommodations from the press, and
it's not likely I'll spend any time trying to divine what appears to be
an obviously articulate woman's failure to write what she meant. Strikes
me that's your job in any forum or public speech the first time around.

----------------

In the meantime, Will's back again like Freddie Kruger, unbanned yet
apparently and now he's really mad. "I might warn that my father is a
Lawyer. So becareful. I am sure you are all thinking that I am lieing.
But I am not."

See what I mean about being sad.
