It allows me to finally move on from Soundjam :-) The "Sound Enhancer" provides a more limited function akin to the Realizer Plug-in that is available for Soundjam <http://www.soundjam.com/sp/plugins.html?PHPSESSID=d8e972917b9bcd2201fbb317e b343346> This is an audio plug-in that can expand the stereo field, heighten (actually synthesise, according to the manual) frequencies, both high and low, and generally breathe new life into the less-than-stellar (but acceptable) hardware specs of Apple's built-in audio outputs... And the MP3 format's less-than-stellar specs, too. The Realizer plugin has more user definable parameters, but this implementation of it in iTunes 2 will suffice. It certainly helps, IMO. I loved the Realizer plugin! Now, if they would only allow you to switch conversion formats (MP3, AIFF, etc.) without having to dig into the prefs windows, it would be perfect for me!
