It's a classic way to make money on eBay. Sell items cheap, and then gouge on the "Shipping and Handling."
It does depend, tho, because some do build in cost of packaging, etc., so actual shipping may be higher. And, the USPS just changed their rates recently, apparently, so it probably *does* cost more to send. But $8 is a joke for a CD jewel box, even in a padded envelope. My $.02...
