You could also check out installing a CD-RW. Go to <http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/index.html> and look in the Drive Upgrade Database (on the home page) for people who have successfully installed CDRW's in their iBooks. Lots of detailed, illustrated instructions too. The drives can be found on ebay, though some used Apple parts dealers are selling them now too. Do a Google search. Good luck.
