This is a question best suited for one of the LEM lists.

I think that you should be able to run 9.2 (9.1.3) and I believe that if
your hard drive is large enough, maybe you could partition it and
install multiple OS's on it (just in case). I have 2 OS 9.2's and one
version of 10.1.5 and 10.2.3 installed in my G4 1000Mhz Dual Processor.
I bounce back and forth quite a lot between the OS's and keep them
segregated for certain tasks. I won't get into that here, but just about
anything is possible where our Macs are concerned.
