I can't and won't comment on these implications and revelations. I think that it would be wonderful if there were more seamless integration between platforms. As for a home user of a Mac, I don't feel the need for dipping my toe into the M$ waters for anything. I do miss some of the avenues that they can travel down. I do not miss the overwhelming multitude of viruses that exist within the "windows" environment. When you weigh pros and cons to establish an argument for or against Mac or PC (general enough??) it seems clear to me that if you want rock solid stability, reliability, speed, user friendliness, and backwards compatibility... the Macs have ruled supremely.... although sales figures do not reflect this well enough. I have a brother that wastes countless hours installing re-installing, and troubleshooting his "dream machine". Me on the other hand, have listened and tried not to poke fun at his reoccurring dilemmas. Sometimes I just can't resist. The weird thing is that it is more tragic than being funny. The money spent to remedy the multitude of bug fixes and incompatibilities is staggering. Just look at the Y2K scare if you need any further evidence.
