If you want a colour Palm OS device try your local Staples store and ask for the Handspring Treo 90. OS 4.1, built in thumboard, colour screen, 16 MB RAM for $147 on clearance. They are end of the line so you may have to check around different stores. This is especially good if you don't want to learn Grafitti. Synching is a snap with the Palm desktop in OS X. There is also quite an active Treo community online
