It's what happens when the web admin guy doesn't schedule a change to the
site when a promotion is over. :-)

Seriously, it's a Javascript that controls the clock, based on your CPU's
date & time. Try changing your date and you'll see the difference.

This is, bluntly, so typical of Apple Canada's web site. Their content is
typically out-of-sync with the US site, although recently it has been
closer-to-current.
