Have received other e-mails such as yours, with the on the end... just curious as to which e-mail program you're operating
That message went through the web interface to my email account (class was extremely boring last night) , so it probably added Windows style line-endings to the message. But really, they're caused by your e-mail client. A lot of the "simpler" (note the quotes, please) clients, like Eudora or Powermail take a bare bones attitude to reading special characters.
on this bit prefer nine, but may be forced to OSX, simply don't like its operating features, far too glitzy...
suspect my concern is Apple keeps changing/updating the program; neither want nor feel the need to change, yet.
The only reason there isn't regular updates for OS 9 is that Apple nailed it into a coffin. Seriously, there has only been two major updates to OS X in its two year history. If you look back on the history of the OS, you'll see the same thing, a major revision every year or two. How did you think they made it from OS 5 to OS 9 in the course of a decade?
As for the minor revisions, it's better than Apple's old attitude of "Work with the bug for now, we'll fix it in the next major release."
However nobody replied as to why the namings....
Just Apple's product codenames, that they finally started to use in their marketing.
There's a pretty complete list at: <http://homepage.mac.com/mdwnet/apple_linkage/codenames/>
OS codenames are at the very bottom.
