This is exactly the kind of thing that I need to do with a bunch of our family videos. At present, I have a 15" Al Powerbook along with Final Cut Express. I got Final Cut Express as a bundle deal with the PB at the Apple Ed store.
I am hoping to edit and then burn these VHS tapes (after editing) to DVD before the tapes deteriorate in quality any further.
