I am not sure why Apple won't include an invoice when people order their computers from the Mac Store. After purchasing a 15" Powerbook from the Mac Ed store at Christmas time, I was surprised not to find an invoice included in the package. I wanted to put the computer on my house insurance with a lower deductible but of course you need a receipt/invoice to do so. When I called Apple about it - they didn't seem surprised at all that there was not in invoice included. I ended up having to have them fax the receipt directly to my insurance company (they took two weeks for them to do this !) and then requested they send a hard copy to me in the mail. That was over 3 months ago. I have been requesting one since and still have not received one !!

I hope Ann's friend has better luck with this !
