I've found that service at London Drugs varies. I've had them crack open software to ensure that it supports my machine, to them accusing me of software piracy because I didn't agree with the implications of forced software registration. My advice: avoid them like the plague for computer purchases, but they are fine for peripheral or software purchases. Their staff tends to be more knowledgeable when it comes to their competition (the Future Shops of the world) and they fare pretty well when it comes to small computer shops (which usuall serve Windows clients and are useless otherwise).
