Basically what i am doing with the blog is using it as a sort of different slant on a website for at least 3 different things.
The reason i need sound clips is because i have an improv band that is beginning to perform regularly and i want to post say a song from each show or something and use the blog as sort of the website for the band. because the blog is already set up so people can leave comments on your posts etc.
The other reasons i really only need pictures which i can host for free on at least 3 different services i have found now.
and i thought of the bandwidth thing too. i take part in a forum where people always leave posts like "CHECK THIS OUT THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!" and then its hosted on angelfire or something. and you click on it and its like "bandwidth exceeded"
so if you know of a cheap one that has say up to 500 or so that would be cool (even 1 gig is over kill really for this.)

With your own hosted site you should get around 100-200MB storage and about 5-10GB traffic bandwidth per month. You should choose one that lets you stream audio and video, if that's what you had in mind or else people will have to d/l your MP3's. From what i can tell you can type as much as you want. unlimited. but you can't upload actual files. It tells you to go to flickr to host pictures.
There is a feature called "audioblogger" that lets you call from a cell phone (or any phone i would guess) and it automatically posts it as an mp3 entry. Thats ALMOST perfect. i just want to post mp3s i already have.
