Depending on what OS you are running you can boot with the space bar
down directly into the Extensions Manager and have it load what you
want then.

I had the same problem recently with an iMac I was fixing. The
original owner had it set up for multiple users, so I was presented
with the login screen every time I booted, but I didn't have the
password. I booted with extensions off and disabled the multi-user
extension. Hmm... not terribly secure, but there you have it.

formats, and a Mac Powerbook Duo-Dock 230 (with the dock).
The powerbook has MacOS on it, but afterdark comes up with a
password protected screensaver on bootup so it's pretty much
useless until I can get a floppy or reinstall an OS.
Preferably in the Ottawa area.
