Unless the CD-ROM is actually physically broken (i.e. it doesn't read
CDs) then you can boot up your computer using the Mac OS CD-ROM and
bypass the software (possibly... don't know foolproof).


It's been at least 2 years since I used Foolproof in my classroom, but IIRC the last version of it didn't let you use the usual workarounds, including the CD trick. That was why some hated it and some loved it. Put me in the latter group. No kid ever hacked my imac, ...... but the hand me down PC's that we eventually converted to - that's another story.
