Craig's query has raised an issue for me that I'm hoping someone here
can answer. Right now my Macs are down and I can't use the Mac Disk
Copy Utility to send any disk images to Craig, presuming he's got the
same 1.x version of SoftWindows I do.

I can create disk images that can be restored using RAWRITE or
WinImage on a PC, or restored with the *nix "dd" command, which I
know is in Linux, but I don't know if it's in OS X.

In Linux, the dd syntax would be something like:

dd if=disk4.img of=/dev/fd0

"if" is input file, "of" is output file, "/dev/fd0" would be the
first floppy drive.

Is there an equivalent command in Mac OS X's Terminal? Or has someone
had experience with using the OS X disk copy utility to reconstitute
a raw disk image (no resource fork or anything)? Thanks!
