I picked up a 266Mhz Rev. B Beige G3 desktop for $5 the other day. It has; 96meg RAM 20gig IDE HD with OS 8.6 VRAM upgraded to 6meg 24x IDE CD-ROM Zip 100 ATAPI Appledesign keyboard ADB-II mouse
And one Adaptec AVA-2903B PCI SCSI card that, going by the Apple and Adaptec websites, does not exist. Fortunately the G3 has version 1.1 of the extention for the SCSI card, I also found the same extention on driverguide.com Is there a newer extention for this card? Is it supported by any version of OSX? Why do companies make computer hardware then deny it exists? (Rhetorical question there. Answer is to make people very, very irritated, to the point where they want to "go postal" in their support department with an original style ADB mouse... Why that one?
