Hi Folks
Like Pete I got my Pulsar 2 years ago for �400, from a IMC, who was selling
discontinued stock. They also sold DIMMS at �10 for 16MB. Needless to say I
bought it. My Pulsar is now running at 250Mhz with 128MB memory. I recently
got a 200Mhz propriety processor off ebay to add to this machine, if only I
could lay my hands on the small cable that connects the two processors
together... Have also recently got 2 video cards from across the pond, for
US�30. A Tempest 3D and a Radius TX 1152, but am now waiting for Maplins to
send me the connectors to run the damn things on my ADI monitor !!!
Incidently if anyone is interested I can reccommend Knight-tech who trades
on eBay. From finishing the auction, the cards were with me within 7days
(including postage) and payment via Bidpay.
Finally does anyone know how to run a 6100 Dos card in a Quadra 650 and
which Mac OS is most suitable ?
( I need the Quadra to run some old System 6 programs that have a tendency
to crash my Pulsar).
