I slot risers are pretty rare, for some unknown reason, but you can then
put any Mac-compatible Ethernet card in with a twisted pair (RJ-45)
connector in the riser.

An alternative is a CommSlot II ethernet card, but they are very rare and
expensive, usually. This goes in a special slot on the 6500 card, but
leaves the PCI slot free for other things.

I happen to have a duplication of Ethernet provision for my 6500 and 5500
at the moment, so can offer you a choice of:

1 slot riser card plus PCI Ethernet card and s/w: 35 inc insured P&P

CSII Ethernet card: 50 inc insured P&P

I'm posting this to the list rather than privately, to show that I'm not
afraid of comments! By all means check me out on eBay to see I'm good to
deal with - 190+ feedback record.

best wishes,

Stuart.
