I can confirm that SE/30 SIMMs in fact fit vertically and you do need 
'shorties' to fit the machine. The SE is the machine with the 
diagonal RAM slots.
Ron is trying to find some 16MB shorties for use in SE/30s to bring 
across so if you want some shout off-list.
