Ed,

I am using OS7.6.1 on a 56k modem with stsandard ethernet, I only get about
4kps actul connection to the net so I wouldnt have thoiught that is too much
for a network to handle, even on old Macs such as these.

Something else for any one else interested, instead of buying an expensive
localtalk bridge to connect your appletalk laserwriter to an ethernet
network, get an old mac (i use my LC450) stich an ethernet card ion it and
install the Localtalk bridge contro.l panel, all macs on the ethernet network
can then access the appletalk network as well!

James
