I presume you have tried it and it says "only for g3's" or whatever it says,
It's been a while since i saw the message and so i forget.

If you havn't then try it, nuts to what it says on the disk. It my experience if it's
not going to work for your system it will tell you rather than kill it!

If you have tried then, Yes this disk is meant for g3's only, i have several around 
here
(given to me), some wil lasctually only install on a g3, and some have a check that 
can be bypassed
by diggin down the folders on the cd and running the installer from there rather that 
in the root.
