Before you do make sure they are actually 800k floppies, not 1.4MB. I know the 6..8 files are available in both sizes of disk from Apple. The SE/30 has a 1.4MB floppy drive and so it would not be immediately obvious if they are 1.4MB until you try them in a Plus. I have a small forest of 800k floppies in my disk cabinet at the back of the room.
