I've got 10.2 on three machines, a G4 Cube (450Mhz, 512MB), Rev A TiBook (256MB) and a G3 iMac DV+ (320MB). Far snappier on the iMac that 10.1 was. About the only thing noticably slower on the iMac is IE - pages take much longer to render on the iMac than on the other machines.
Other than that, its perfectly usable on the iMac and quite a pleasre as well. > ebay.? for osx do not go lower than 400mhz/G3. I have a DV iMac that is > running osx.1.5 and could do with being snappier. that has a 400Mhz > processor. Mike, OSX.2 (Jaguar) should be a good deal smoother and quicker that 10.1.5 of course, its still not up to OS9 speeds, but with each iteration things are pepping up:) Matt -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
