As Rob has demonstrated, there are still people trying to run SoftWindows on OS 9.x despite the product no longer being supported. Over the past few months I've had a few emails asking if I have updates for SoftWindows 2/95/98 (an earlier posting of mine to this list must be coming up on the search engines).

I was thinking that it would be easier to put any updates on a web page, but thought it only fair to contact FWB first and ask for permission. I've had no reply (OK, to be fair I've only sent one email to their support department so far), but was wondering about the legality of just going ahead and uploading if I get no response following further enquiries.

The software's no longer supported, but I'm assuming that I need some kind of permission first?

Neil
