All routers, and it is (afaik) a router as well as a modem have some firewall like features. Most notably network address translation (NAT).Presumably my ADSL modem, a Netgear DM602, includes a firewall as well
It probably doesn't like the NAT.the site needs firewalls to be turned off before access can be gained.
My RT314 router has an option to forward all ports to a specific LAN IP, I need to do this to host Myth II games online :).
Look around in your documentation/admin interface and see if there is anything about port forwarding, you need to point all traffic to your mac.
This is a little less secure of course, but it looks like your second line of defence is in place anyway.
Hope this helps - but note that I'm no networking guru!
