Hi, My company has just had a clearout of our IT storage area, and we have decided it's finally time to let the following Mac hardware go, even though it has served us well over the years. This might be too old for anyone to make use of, but I thought I would offer it to the list first. All of this is free, preferably the buyer would collect from our offices in Angel Islington, London N1, but I can post it out if you are prepared to pay the postage - bear in mind these are mainly metal and heavy though.
Systems: Power Macintosh 8200/120 beige tower 120Mhz processor, 80Mb RAM, 2GB + 1GB internal HD with fresh OSX8 install. Floppy and internal CDROM. Facia surrounding CD drive has been lost, otherwise fully working Power Mac 6100/60 60Mhz, 24Mb RAM, 260Mb HD, floppy, running OS8.1. Powered up and showed the desktop fine. Power Macintosh 4400/160 Internal CDROM and floppy, 1GB hard drive, ethernet network card. Slight crackle from the PSU when I plug the lead in, but no sign of life when I press the power button on the front, so I'm not sure how much memory it has - maybe useful for parts? Macintosh Performa 475 It makes the happy chime, but nothing happens on the monitor. It comes with internal floppy drive, and a 250Mb internal HD. All these systems come without keyboard or mouse, but we do have the little adaptors to allow them to work with VGA monitors. Some external SCSI enclosures too: 1 x External CDROM case (no CD drive) with external Centronics style SCSI ports 1 x DDS 3 tape drive in Dynatek case with Centronics style SCSI ports. This was producing read or write errors I think, but the physical mechanism works, tapes insert and eject, the tape works, etc. 1 x metal Lacie external CDROM case (no CD drive) with external Centronics style SCSI ports 1 x external Syquest 44Mbyte tape drive 1 x external DDS2 tape drive - fully working as far as I know 1 x external SCSI HD (empty) enclosure, with 68pin interface 1 x metal Lacie external HD (empty) enclosure, which used to hold UW SCSI hard drives, has 68pin external interface. We have a box of external SCSI cables, so if you want any to go along with these, just ask. Also a box with some internal flat 50pin SCSI cables too, if anyone needs them.
