Hi folks,

Bear with me on this one - I'm a Mac user in the UK, but with a fairly old setup. I've got an antique SE/30 which I've added an 8.5GB hard drive to, am upgrading to 80MB RAM this weekend, and am on the lookout for a IIfx ROM chip so that I can install OS 8.1 on it (have 7.5.3 at present). Yeah, I know, I'm weird.

But hey, my SE/30 also has a video card in it which will let me support an external monitor at 24bit colour (a damn site better than the 9" b&w internal display!). Ideally, I'd like a Mac II Series Monitor Adapter as made by Griffin Technology so that I can link my SE/30 to a lovely slimline TFT display.

Does anyone know of ANYWHERE in the UK that sells these adapters? I can get it shipped over from America but a) they'll charge more for postage than the adapter costs, the combined price ending up more than I've paid for the Mac, RAM and hard drive, and b) if it doesn't work it would be nice to be able to send it back easily.

And no, don't tell me to buy and iMac... I'm going to get one when I can afford it!

Paul
