I'm thinking of adding DVD to my g4/400 yikes and wonder if anyone on this list has any recommendations or advice for doing so.
I've found this drive for 150 USD but am trying to locate it in the UK

- the only UK version i have found is �160 + VAT which makes it over twice as expensive as the US version although it is the same hardware.
I usually buy hdd's and the like from scan.co.uk and notice that there are some good priced DVD writers which are IDE.
Does anyone know of a compatibility list so i can find out whats tried and tested? ( i am currently wading through xlr8yourmac.com)
