I bought a similar pci card off e-bay in November and installed it on my Mac 5400/160 (with G3 accelerator card) OS 8.6.
The extensions I installed were: USB Device Extension 1.4.1 USB Software Locator 1.4.1 USB Support 1.4.1 These were downloaded from the Apple site--details given in an earlier post and the card worked fine. I use it for my Cannon Powershot A40 camera importing into Photoshop 5.
