Hmmm...I got my order confirmation, but without any despatch notice
there's no guarantee that there are any left in stock. They haven't taken
my money yet either, so maybe I just missed it :-(
I ordered mine on Friday 12th, got a confirmation email then heard nothing until it turned up unannounced the following Wednesday. 10.3 upgrade disks were in the box in addition to the 10.2 install disks.
Hmm... that is good. If you've already got Macs running Jaguar then that cuts the effective cost of the iBook to just over 400, doesn't it? I'm still thinking of the iBook as a Linux machine; I could use the 10.3 upgrade disks on my Powerbook which is staying as a Mac OS X machine and is currently on 10.2.8.
Let's hope they resurrect the offer next weekend.
