Wow, thanks guys for spotting this....I've just ordered one myself (hope
there's still some available).
I've been planning on getting a laptop for a while, but with some
concerns about the future (self employed now) even the price of a low-end
G4 iBook was a bit unnerving. One of these should do the job just fine...
...so long as it doesn't have that dodgy motherboard problem ;-)
Sold out same day on the website ... Unless they've got some more in he says
dashing off to check !
Hmmm...I got my order confirmation, but without any despatch notice
there's no guarantee that there are any left in stock. They haven't taken
my money yet either, so maybe I just missed it :-(
Well, I just checked using IE, and it's showing them as in stock.
Very weird site - it won't show stock availability if you use Safari, and crashes that the checkout if you use IE.
Even at that price, I don't think I'll bother mainly due to their attitude to Mac support.
I also like my Pismo far too much to swap it for an iBook - and I think the missus might have something to say if I add another iBook to the 2 Pismos, Tonkabook and 5300......
Steve.
