having to 'open' the attachments sent along with the message but only if
html messages are allowed (ie Apple e-news newsletters), eliminating the
need to specifically 'click' on a link or such but I may well be just

and others have less than a hundred...compatibility would be an issue?
You misunderstand me. I don't mean apply a filter. The other lists I subscribe to do not allow attachments to be posted but do allow rich text, which is what I really mean. Sorry for not being clearer.
