Hopefully once they redress this issue by integrating Core Image (under Tiger) and give Mac users ONLY the ability to make use of non destructive realtime effects in Photoshop and After Effects we will see better results in the benchmarks.
I have to say the Mac/PC debate has never bothered me that much past having PC users constantly trying to justify to me why the PC they use is better, strangely I don't feel compelled to do this in reverse simply because I am happy with and do not doubt the choice I have made as a long term Mac user.
Although I would agree that the best use of Windows is for ejecting PC's

I've had many PCs over the years, as well as macs, and I don't think I've ever had a PC motherboard spontaneously fail on me. I've blown a couple up my not taking the proper precautions before I messed with them, but that's my fault. No, in my experience motherboards are pretty robust.
