When moving to OSX recently I took out a free trial 60 day mac.com account. Surprisingly (to me at any rate!), I was immediately billed for it on my credit card. Being perhaps too naive, I'd expected to be asked at the end of the 60 day period if I wished to continue before being billed. However, I don't want to continue with mac.com and simply want a refund.

I find ,Mac very good and useful if a little pricey. In balance I think it is worth the 68.90 and I have today just paid for my second annual update. They reminded me a couple of days ago that the card I had in my personal details had expired, which was good work but, when you reply they tell you to go away and look at their FAQ, which is less good.

Have just visited mac.com again and found my subscription has now expired. My CC account (via a web site) also now shows that a refund of 61.75 was made a couple of days ago, although the original payment was 68.99. Curious about the 7.24 difference but, in the circumstances, we'll let that pass :-(
