Hello the List!
I think I may have an issue with my 12" Powerbook. On occasion it makes
what I can only describe as a light ' thudding' noise; a sort of deep,
non-resonant click, quite brief. It might do this a handful of times
and then stop. Often it doesn't do it at all, but this morning it's
doing it a lot. It seems to be coming from the back l/h side of the
side of the case. It generally seems to happen when the PB is first
woken up.
Hard drive ? My 80GB clicks a lot.

I suppose that is the most likely. Is this normal behaviour, do you think, or evidence of a impending HD failure?
